Anyone know how to get a witches bottle?

Aye I played the 0.1 version which was tons of fun, so I cant wait to play the new ones ^^

From the changelogs I read, it looks pretty fun

I wonder if anyone's made a good walkthrough/wiki for this game? (Mostly bc I want to see what happens when you lose to Julian ngl)

HEres how to get that ending, it's best to experience it yourself:

  1. Discover the circus (I assume you've done this already)
  2. Accept Julian's offer
  3. Return to the circus every day. Head immediately for Julian, if possible. (It's mostly random chance) If not, quickly go through whatever else you have, save, and try again next day
  4. You have to "be trained" by Julian 7 times to trigger the ending.
  5. You can tell Julian's in control now when the font changes (Neat touch, Cit!).
  6. In the following stage scene, there are two outcomes.
  7. If you be outgoing and brazen, you'll get the better ending. (Well, it's the best you can get.)
  8. If you be meek and subby in the scene, Julian will think less of you, and.... :( Well, I won't spoil.
  9. If you lose all your hearts, I think that has the same outcome as the subby route. Not sure, will check
  10. If you manage to get buttsecksed by Julian, PLEASE TELL ME HOW!! I CAN'T FIND HOW TO GET TO IT!!
  11. And if you're really frustrated, unleash Debug Mode by doing the following:
  12. Create a shortcut pointed at  RPG_RT.exe in the game's folder
  13. Right click > Properties > File Path/Arguments (NOT Folder Path), add " TestPlay" to the end. Should look something like "A:/example/RPG_RT.exe TestPlay"
  14. Execute the shortcut, load a save. Hit F9 to change switches/variables, and F10 to somewhat travel back in time in dialogue eevents.

Hope this helps to everyone... Maybe it should be time to make a full walkthrough or a tutorial...

I feel really dumb for asking but I don't see File Path/Arguments when I look at my properties. I am on WIN 10 however.

It's listed as "Target".

This is really hot and I really enjoyed this. I noticed in the patch notes for 0.31 there was a screenshot with the word "FORGET" in front of a spiral. I played through Julian being peak sub so do I get that by trying (and failing) to resist Julian's control? Thanks.

That specific screen is from if you turn down his offer at the circus. ( which you can do in .31) Then an event when you visit the carnival later will lead to his thugs ambushing you, and if you get caught...

How do you get access to the circus? I started on my latest 0.2 save and have spent several days exploring the forest and town but nothing has changed.

If you do his Work event enough it unlocks

You need to upgrade to the latest version. Also youll have to start over when you do as the old save system used in .2 isnt working with the new .3.2 update!

Can you hypnotize Julian or will that be added in a future update?

It'll be added in the NEXT update, in fact! You can access it right now over patreon, which I just recently linked on the page, otherwise it'll be here on itch in about a month!

Is there any way to get additional witch bottles?

Not at the moment! In future updates they'll come from more advanced locations/encounters!

Is there any guide to this game? I mostly enjoy it outside of the grinding parts where you need to reptetively explore until you tumble over what you are looking for. I quickly lose conception of has to be done to reach your goals.

Not sure how to even play this game without getting pickpocketed constantley in the town. And when I try to catch the thief, I either lose them, or they knock me out when I try to capture them. Having that happen constantly, plus the food cost of 20gil every day until I eventually get a gameover from trying to just eplore the town just seems like an unfair system at that point.

Is it possible to win against Jullian? Or is it an always lose scenario?

You can win against him, it's just a slightly trickier skill check than usual! He still trances you if you succeed, since that's what you're being hired for, but you handle it with a bit more grace than if you lost.

I'm definitely not understanding something, but I don't know what I'm not understanding. I'm not aware of any way to acquire money, and captured heroes don't seem to show up anywhere for me to interact with.

I really don't understand how to capture the rogue. I restarted the game thinking that you needed max speed, since most options are speed related, and even then I can't capture him. What's the catch?

seeing as how I cannot find any way to comment at all to you about "the cat opened the door" game you made, I found a bug and was trying to report it, the carriages, you can endlessly destroy them, and the game does not seem to recognize that you've done so.  just wanted to let you know.  fun game so far.

This game was amazing and definitely fun to play. I can't wait for the finished product!!!!

very polished game, very "fun" and feels flushed out. Really good artwork aswell! 10/10!

The game is very polished for a demo, and the writing is excellent. The best parts of the game are the induction scenes and situations where Citrine gets dommed. The way text is formatted is great, and the use of pauses adds character to a scene. Unfortunately, this also makes it a hassle to go through scenes that you've already seen, a fast forward button would be a nice QOL improvement. overall, I really enjoyed it. Looking forward for more!

You'll find him in the town during an exploration. It's a random event.

Love the demo so far! I do have an issue though that when in the buying/selling menu there is no way to leave it, resulting in me having to close the game and restart.

Should be able to just hit "escape", same way you open up the menu!

The game is great and I love the concept and gameplay. I currently have no idea on how to find and track down the rogue, so im wondering if it'll happen eventually just by playing or if there is a certain action i have to do?

hooh boy
played 5 hours straight, day 26, max comfort and obedience, got the rogue down, over 500 gold (and of course bought pretty dresses for my servants)
absolutely love it > v<;;

though an improvement I'd suggest to the game; a quick reset button that instantly kicks you back to your last save regardless of where or what's happening
found myself constantly restarting the game and retrying until I got an outcome that was good enough, so having a convenient button like that would be a huge time save imo

regardless though, can't wait to see the game develop further

Hey, thank you for the feedback! The version of RPG Maker I'm using might make an instant reset button a little tricky, but skipping through scenes should be a lot easier come the next update, so hopefully that helps with saving time. I'm so glad you liked it so far! Things should smooth out as I continue working on the project. c:

A wonderful game so far!! However, I am admittedly struggling to get past hypnotizing the rogue in the basement. Is there a way to increase my skills from their initial values like leveling up somehow or passing skill checks in the town and forest? Because I keep failing the skill checks for the rogue. So either my stats are too low, or my RNG luck is horrible... ^v^'

I've already tried changing out servants to try out different strategies, but they don't seem to help me either...

It might be RNG, though stat increasing ought to make things a lot easier! Give me a month or so and the next update should feature the ability to increase your stats, making things a lot easier overall.

Really enjoying this game so far!  As a (hopefully small) QOL ask, is it possible in RPG maker to allow for text to scroll faster (ideally if already seen, similar to renpy)?  It would be nice to be able to hold shift or something through some dialogue, especially the repetitive ones at the end of the days.

It takes some finagling, though in the next update you SHOULD be able to just hit the shift key to quickly skip through dialogue! The next release (which should hopefully be in a couple months once development resumes in earnest!) will feature a good chunk of QOL fixes, as well as several mechanics I left out in the initial release.

Bro i cannot express how happy i was to see this in my feed. Havnt explored it fully yet but seeing as there is apparently much more content than i thought, i might just need to do a little more digging.

Is it just me, or are there no actual scenes?

How to pursue an expedition? I click on a wardrobe, it says "This is where you'd go to pursue an expedition" but nothing else happens.

You need to track the rouge back to his hideout first. That's what I did and I got him eventually.

For such an early version of the game, this is incredible. If this is just a "simple demo" then I can't even imagine what the finished product's gonna be like.

Hey, is anyone else getting the bug where the game automatically moves you directly left like really strong joycon drift exept you can't move even if you hit right or down?

I even tried the ol uninstall re install, didn't work, anything I'm missing? I'd love to play this game.

I played the game and enjoyed it so far, but something happened at the expedition with the rogue cat, the part where citrine tackled the cat, the dialogue repeats back to the point where citrine found the attic door

that keeps happening for me, too ':(

okay ive played a bit now i like the idea i got the rogue and think i understand most so far so ill be keeping an eye on this this might end up being really damn grate <3

also quick question wich i noticed (i think) if you succed in a talk be it strengh wisdom etc can that perk get a plus 1 after a certain ammount of succesfull turns?

Liking what I'm seeing here so far! The writing is nicely done and some of the features on display at this early point are pretty well implemented! Can't wait to see how it grows over development!

Love the game so far. My only problem is that articles of clothing don't really do much to improve stats, which makes it hard to progress. That aside, loving it and cannot wait for more.
