Perfect Home [0.5.4]: Your New Alpha

With this bad end and a lil' extra work, the wolf's content is finally completely wrapped up! Took a little longer to get all of his stuff sorted through, but I'm planning on making up for lost time by introducing the next hero, the Cleric, in one sitting. I took a lot of time this update to finish various scenes that'll show up in future updates too, which hopefully ought to make the workload a lot more forgiving while I get my ducks in a row with moving out of state and such.

With the next few updates set up to be pretty decently-sized, a rough estimation of the rest of the year tells me that we'll be seeing the final 1.0 release by November or December! Crazy stuff, right? Feels like it was only yesterday that I released the second hunt in all its buggy, wonky glory. I don't want to talk about what order I'll be releasing things in, since after the Cleric and bunny hero are released, I'll be able to more freely pick and choose what gets prioritized-- or rather, YOU will, with a few polls! I can give you an idea of what's to come in broad terms, though: the ability to date Felicity, training/selling your servants, starting a brainwashed cult, more home upgrades, and the most advanced mechanic yet... dungeon crawling! Think Legend of Zelda, but with horny text if you get caught by the monsters. There's other things I'm keeping close to the chest that we'll be seeing too, but I'm pretty confident in saying that no matter what, all of this is getting taken care of by the end of the year!

Once I release 1.0, I'll be taking a month-long hiatus, but it's not the conclusion of the project by any stretch-- rather, I consider 1.0 to be a perfectly suitable "finished game", with healthy gameplay loops and a sort of "end state" you can reach and be like, "well, that's that taken care of!". After I come back, I'll be adding in the second bracket of rivals just like Julian, more elaborate areas, more advanced mechanics, more dates, and just... more! I don't want to tip my hand too much more than that, but I'm not planning on stopping with Perfect Home any time soon, 'specially not with all your generous support encouraging me to keep moving.

That's about it for this one! Can't wait to see how y'all like the next.~

Patch Notes

• When failing in the final encounters of the Wolf's hunt, you'll enter a 5K+ word bad end, featuring musk, degradation, and two variations depending on how much willpower you're able to cling to!

• A potion can now be bought for removing pollen addiction, so that you don't have to hit the cap every time to refresh it! It also reduces Julian's influence over you, and will be a way of clearing your mind from the control of others going forward.

• A new forest scene for after you've defeated the barbarian wolf, featuring the pack overpowering a party of heroes!

• A new ruins scene where you encounter a couple dumb warriors!

• Added in some of the supplementary scenes for the hound that were missing, related to strength potion addiction and the circus show event specifically!
